What Brought Me to Birth Work

My journey into birth work began shortly after my own traumatic, unplanned cesarean. This event catapulted me into the work and since its activation, I've never felt more whole, aligned, and connected to myself and purpose. Through this work, I remain informed by ancestral guidance, communal participation, and enhanced intuition.

Why I Do This Work

I do this work for a multitude of reasons. From feeling the ancestral push to reclaim this knowledge, to working diligently with my clients to reduce disparities, to lovingly and gently guiding my clients back to their own intuition this work is fulfilling for me on so many levels.

Being invited into such an intimate and powerful moment in a family’s life is something I never take for granted.

What I Bring to Your Birth / Postpartum Journey

My duty is to ensure my clients feel seen, held, and supported, as I recognize that every birthing person's experience is unique. With that in mind, the care my clients receive is ultimately catered to their individual experiences. Families often describe my work as nurturing, attentive, and structured yet intuitive. When I enter a birth space, I aim to uplift, support, honor, and empower your natural abilities to trust your body's wisdom.

Some of the ways I support families include:

• Adequate preparation through evidence-based education with a focus on building trust and understanding

• Gentle and loving reassurance as I work to guide you back to your own profound intuition
• Eagerly including birth partners to solidify a sturdy foundation of support
• Maintaining flexibility and adaptability to mirror the dynamic processes of pregnancy, labor/birth, and postpartum

• If desired, I value incorporating the support of our herbal allies, which have been long-used throughout humanity to support these tender, vulnerable seasons
My goal is always to help you feel safe, confident, and deeply supported throughout your journey.

A Little About Me

Outside of birth work, I am a long-time intuitive astrologer, as well as a budding herbalist. I prioritize play in my life, so as to heal generational wounds to make beautiful space for my generations to come.

I live in Sacramento and live a beautiful life with my son and partner. We value time spent outdoors where we sunbathe and lounge in the river. I love indulging in good food, travelling, and working toward building a life that honors life, land, and health.
