What Brought Me to Birth Work

Birth has always been a part of my life. My mom was a childbirth educator and doula, and at seven years old, I witnessed the home birth of my younger sister surrounded by midwives, and something about that moment never left me. As I got older, I began to understand what I had felt in that room, and becoming a doula felt less like a decision and more like coming home to something I had always known.

Why I Do This Work

I do this work because I believe every woman deserves to feel held, informed, and never alone during one of the most powerful moments of her life. The way a woman experiences her birth matters, not just in the moment, but in how she carries it with her long after. I want every mom I support to walk away feeling strong, respected, and truly cared for.

What I Bring to Your Birth

I am attentive to what a mother needs in the moment- whether that is quie encouragement, hands-on comfort, help with positioning, or simply someone steady beside her while she finds her strength.

I have a deep respect for each mother’s choices and instincts. I trust the body’s ability to birth, and I show up without an agenda only support. I have a special love for home birth and the intimacy it brings, though I am honored to support families in whatever setting feels right for them. Partners are always a valued part of the experience, too. I love helping them feel confident and involved so we can all work together as a team. Before becoming a doula, I spent over ten years working with kids and families as a camp counselor, mother’s helper, and nanny.

A Little About Me

I am Sacramento-born and raised. I was homeschooled growing up, which allowed for much creativity and shaped the kind of person and doula I am today. I am naturally minded at heart I love being in nature, gardening, and herbal remedies, and I tend to trust the body to do what it was made to do. I am a fall girl, and when I am not with families, you can find me thrifting, making scrapbooks, and crafting. I spent a semester living in Spain and love to travel and try new foods. I am close with my family and engaged to my high school sweetheart I am so looking forward to this season of wedding planning and preparing for marriage, and one day, I cannot wait to have babies of my own.

I have also worked at a flower shop and run my own sushi business I love being creative and find it in just about everything I do. And wherever I go, I am always on the hunt for a photo booth!

One Thing I Want Families to Know

I am here to walk alongside you, not to lead, not to push, just to support. Whatever birth you are planning and hoping for, I am in your corner. I want you to feel safe, cared for, and never alone. It is truly an honor to be invited into this season of your life.
