Hi, I’m Emmery,

Hi, my name is Emmery! I am a proud mama to a beautiful 9-month-old baby girl, and my own journey into motherhood is what inspired my passion for postpartum care. Becoming a mother has given me a deeper understanding of just how beautiful, vulnerable, and overwhelming the postpartum season can be. I am so excited to be joining the Rebecca Rose Doula Services team and to have the opportunity to walk alongside families as they welcome their little ones. My heart is to help parents feel cared for, encouraged, and supported as they navigate this incredible new chapter.

Certifications & Additional Training

I have completed the Rebecca Rose Doula Services mentorship program, gaining valuable hands-on experience through shadowing opportunities in both personal and professional postpartum care settings.

My training and qualifications include:

  • Rebecca Rose Doula Services Mentorship Program

  • Postpartum Doula Training - Expected completion December 2026

  • First Aid & CPR Certified

  • Background Check

Alongside my professional development, my personal experience as a mother has given me a deeper understanding of the postpartum journey and the importance of compassionate, individualized care.

I believe in continuing education and regularly pursuing opportunities to deepen my knowledge so I can provide families with safe, thoughtful, nurturing, and evidence-based support.

What Brought Me to Postpartum Work

My journey into postpartum care began with my own transition into motherhood. Becoming a mom has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life, and it opened my eyes to just how much love, patience, and support parents need during those early months.

Experiencing the joys and challenges of postpartum firsthand gave me a new appreciation for the importance of having a village. It inspired me to become part of that village for other families, helping parents feel less alone, more confident, and truly cared for during such a meaningful season.

I know how quickly those early newborn days pass, and I want to help families feel supported enough to slow down, soak in the little moments, and enjoy this chapter without feeling like they have to do everything on their own.

Why I Do This Work

I believe that caring for a newborn also means caring for the parents.

The postpartum period is filled with so much change, and I am passionate about creating a space where mothers and fathers feel seen, heard, and supported as they find their footing.

Whether that means offering a listening ear, lending a helping hand, or simply reminding a tired mama that she is doing an incredible job, I want families to know they don't have to navigate this season alone.

I do this work because I genuinely love caring for others, and I believe every family deserves to feel supported, nurtured, and celebrated as they grow.

What I Bring to Your Postpartum Journey

My approach to postpartum care is nurturing, patient, and encouraging. As a new mom myself, I understand that every baby, parent, and family is different. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to motherhood, and I love supporting families as they discover what works best for them.

My goal is to bring a sense of calm, comfort, and reassurance into your home. From helping with everyday household tasks to offering emotional support and encouragement, I hope to lighten the load so parents can focus on resting, bonding, and enjoying their new baby.

I want to meet families exactly where they are, without judgment or expectations, and help them feel empowered in the choices they make for themselves and their little ones.

Above all, I want the families I support to feel confident, cared for, and reassured as they settle into their own unique rhythm.

A Little About Me

Outside of doula work, you can usually find me spending time with my husband, our sweet baby girl, and our two dogs! We live in Roseville and love making memories together during this special season of life.

Some of my favorite things include reading a good book, playing board games, camping, and exploring local breweries. I love spending quality time with the people I love and finding joy in life's simple moments.

One Thing I Want Families to Know

If there is one thing I want families to know about me, it's that I genuinely care about the well-being of mothers and their families.

I know firsthand how much it means to have someone show up for you during the early days of motherhood. Sometimes the smallest gestures of kindness and support can make the biggest difference.

My hope is that every family I support feels a little more rested, a little more confident, and a whole lot more loved. I want you to feel comfortable asking for help, confident in your abilities as a parent, and reminded that you deserve care, too.

It would be such an honor to be part of your village during this beautiful chapter of your life.
