What Brought Me to This Work

I’ve always been naturally drawn to babies, mothers, and the beautiful transitions that come with growing a family. Before becoming a doula, I worked as a nanny, and as the families I cared for began welcoming new babies, they started asking me to support them through those early days. What began as something that came naturally to me grew into a passion for providing intentional, nurturing care.

During my doula training, I attended my very first birth, and it was an experience I will never forget. The baby decided to arrive before the midwives could get there, and I unexpectedly found myself helping bring that little life into the world. That powerful moment solidified my calling to birth work and gave an entirely new meaning to the care I had already been providing families. From there, I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to supporting mothers and babies through the postpartum season.

Why I Do This Work

I have a deep love for the transition into motherhood and the transformation that happens within a family when a new life arrives. Becoming a mother myself gave me an even greater appreciation for just how beautiful, vulnerable, overwhelming, and life-changing this season can be.

I believe mothers deserve to be nurtured just as intentionally as their babies. While so much attention is placed on preparing for birth, the care that follows is equally important.

I do this work because I love creating space for mothers to rest, heal, find their rhythm, and feel supported as they grow into this new version of themselves. My passion is caring for the whole mother, honoring not only her physical recovery but also the emotional and personal transformation that comes with motherhood.

What I Bring to Your Birth or Postpartum Journey

My approach to doula care is nurturing, intuitive, holistic, and deeply rooted in genuine connection.

I understand that motherhood can be a beautiful paradox. You can experience overwhelming love and complete exhaustion, gratitude and grief, confidence and uncertainty, sometimes all in the same moment. I welcome all of it.

I provide a safe, judgment-free space where families can feel comfortable being exactly where they are. I don't believe there is one right way to experience motherhood. My role is to listen, encourage, and offer meaningful support that honors each family's unique needs, values, and preferences.

With years of experience caring for babies, children, and families, I bring a balance of emotional reassurance and hands-on support. Whether that means newborn care, infant soothing, meal preparation, comfort measures, or simply creating a peaceful home where a mother can truly rest, my goal is to help the entire family feel cared for.

Above all, I want families to feel seen, supported, and confident as they navigate this beautiful new chapter.

A Little About Me

Outside of doula work, I'm a proud mommy to my adventurous 4-year-old son and a dog mom to our attention-loving Frenchie, Max!

I live in Sacramento, California, and love hosting events, caring for our backyard chickens, scrapbooking, and creating a warm, welcoming home for my family.

I find so much joy in bringing people together, creating meaningful experiences, and appreciating the little moments that make life so special.

One Thing I Want Families to Know

If there's one thing I want families to know about me, it's that I don't take lightly the importance of the village surrounding you during one of the most transformative seasons of your life.

I want to be the villager you always needed.

Someone who shows up with genuine love, understanding, and care. Someone you can lean on, feel safe with, and trust to nurture not only your baby but you and your family as a whole.

I believe that when we show up for families in this way, we're doing more than providing postpartum support. We're helping rebuild the villages that every mother, baby, and family deserves.
